Whilst it is widely debated that both men and women are physically capable and can think similarly, others contend that since women give birth to their offspring and have different upbringing than men, they are naturally more nurturing than men. Women are physically wired to take care of their offspring and are brought up with different societal expectations. Thus, I strongly believe that women are comparatively more peaceful than men.
To begin with, males tend to be more aggressive than females to protect their kin from predators. A pertinent example is seen since the time immemorial, where women, to satisfy the breastfeeding needs of their babies, have stayed in the caves; while men went out for hunting and fetching food for the family. Unfortunately, across all mammal species, breastfeeding babies is not something that a male can offer. This clearly demonstrates that human evolution has cultivated certain unique characteristics that are specific to the gender.
In addition, men are often more aggressive than women due to differences in societal expectations and upbringing. For instance, since ancient times, men are expected to earn and provide for the entire family, while women are expected to perform household duties-- including cooking and cleaning. Furthermore, these expectations are nurtured from the early days of childhood, often leading to deep pyschological behaviors that traverse across generations. Thus, it is quite evident that, on an average, although physically there are no differences; pyschologically males and females differ over a period of time.
To summarize, while men and women are equally intelligent and can possess similar strength, due to factors such as breastfeeding, nurturing children, hormonal composition differences and societal upbringing, women are observed to be more nurturing than men across centuries. It is important for us to understand these differences and conciously practice peace and kindness towards others.
